The Autumn project for this year has been the reinstatement by hand of a boundary wall (or dyke) at the west side of the cottages, and the construction of a new front wall to the south of the cottages.  A lot of back-breaking labour has gone into this, each stone has to be built into place by hand by a skilled craftsman in dry-stone dyking.
